Please keep in mind that you're applying to be part of a serious RP heavy modded minecraft server that'll run for a max of 3 months !

Enchanted Mirror is a modded minecraft survival multiplayer server! It'll be roleplay focussed so we could build an amazing story together based on the world's existing lore. The server will run on the 17th of April until the 19th of July. Exact times will become available at a later date.A There are a few things I'd like to note before you fill out the application form;・Make sure before applying that you check if your computer / laptop is capable of handling the Cottage Witch modpack.
There is a limit as to how many people we'll allow to join and it would be unfair if you'd be accepted but are not actually able to participate in the activities.
・In this server some people may stream or record their POVs ; be aware of this . If this makes you uncomfortable , it would be best not to apply.
・We will be an adults only server.
・This server is roleplay heavy, meaning that most if not all interactions are in-character. Please keep this in mind while playing. Additionally; there will be proximity chat, so have a functioning microphone.
・A requirement will be that you're able to play at least 3 separate days a week ! (evenings are ok too!) If you find that you do not have this time to spare, I do advice against joining.
・If there are any events; they will be during the weekend. So everyone has an opportunity to join. There will be polls to determine the best timeslots.

World Lore

A mirror as old as times connected many planes of existence , allowing interdimensional travel for any and all who wished to do so . Nations lived peacefully , the interdimensional court of justice rarely banned realms or species from the light-line** . Rare , but not unheard of .From friendly gatherings , to regular travellers between dimensions ; traders thrived through the widely available markets . But everything changed with a deafeningly loud crash .You were traveling to your next destination when the unthinkable happened . . . the mirror shattered into massive glass shards ; scattering across the world you now find yourself in with no return to the light-lines that once connected so many dimensions . With limited options and no contact , how will you proceed ?At least you don't seem to be alone in this !** light-line(s) refers to the connection between the mirrors; as mirrors reflect light for us to see it's reflection etc.

Before you apply for the server, please read through these rules.

1. Zero tolerance for hate.
・ Remain friendly and inclusive. This server is meant to be fun inclusive place for all. Any form of racism, sexism, slurs, doxing or hate speech is unwelcomed.2. Stay in character.
・ Try to speak and act like your character while on the (minecraft) server. This server is roleplay heavy, meaning that most if not all interactions are in-character. Please keep this in mind while playing. There will be voice channels on the discord where you can sit down and chat with others out of character.3. Don't use the /Whisper /Tell or /w function.
・ "Telepathic" communications should only be used to contact the moderators in case of emergencies or if you need immediate help. Otherwise; try and use the mailing system as much as possible. It'll be one of the first things we'll focus on setting up.4. No random killing.
・ There has to be a valid roleplay reason before attacking or killing someone; let deaths have some form of weight. Of course, accidents can always happen! Value your life, though.5. Automated farms.
・ They're welcome, but they MUST have a turn off button/switch. On previous servers we've noticed that farms can be a huge lag hazard when there's a lot of people present.6. No RP-bleed.
・ Try to not let in-game interactions effect you in real life, if something is bothering you please communicate this! Communication is key!7. Rules may change.
・ Some rules may be adjusted or added on later based on feedback and events; we can't foresee and prevent everything.8. Respect people's lore.
・ Since the server is focused on roleplay; people may have some serious topics and depth to their characters. Be respectful and don't try and change aspects of it without prior discussion or consent; of course if someone goes with the flow it's fine.9. Community.
・Please stay somewhat together for the first few days of the server; you can always venture out later. We just want to build a sense of community before splitting off into other places. It prevents people from feeling left out.10. Character creation restriction.
・There will only be one character creation restriction; please refrain from creating a god. You can be powerful or maybe just a guy, but we want to avoid a world with multiple godly beings. A small deity would be okay though.

Now some people may have some struggles coming up with rough character ideas for the server and that's okay! I've come to provide some resources and inspirations!First of all, you can always turn toward dungeon and dragon character creation! Not one on one, but just to see if there's something you like.
Personally, I'd recommend going through the 5e tools website, as it has a lot of DnD books just up there for free as well as a proper search function.Otherwise you can turn to a homebrew site lite the DnD homebrew wiki. It has a bunch of custom races and classes etc.Additionally you can always doom scroll a site/app like Pinterest.Something to keep in mind is that you can connect them to specific realms or biomes they may be from; the nether, end, twilight forest, deep dark, cherry blossom biome, ocean, caves etc.ADDICTIONALLY if you happened to be playing around on the modpack beforehand and notice theres a hat that would push your character design forward; please let the owner know! they'll be sure to give you the hat immediately! immersion!!<3AND IF YOU'RE APPLYING WITH A FRIEND, LET US KNOW! Because of the world lore some people may know each other beforehand and it would suck to split people up so we'll keep things in mind while going through the applications.
